New to GIS, and I'm not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination. I've looked at some previous examples and haven't been able to figure it out with the error messages I've been getting, and would appreciate any help.
In Arc 10.1, I have a layer file with quite a few data points. I'd like to build a tool (Modelbuilder or python) that would ask me to select a data point by Unit name, my variable, then after inputting that, the .mxd would zoom to my most recent input.
