I have a DEM that is derived from a 50K map (provided by Geobase Canada), the resolution indicates it is 23.19156058m per cell (raster name DEM_50K). I need to resample this DEM to a 100m cell size (proposed raster name DEM_100m), and have it snap to a raster I have of vegetation cover ( raster name VEG_100m).
I was going to simply Resample the raster to 100m, use Bilinear Interpolation, and in the Geoprocessing environment snap it to the Vegetation raster, however, I have seen numerous threads here indicating that is not a good way to go.
Can someone provide me with the steps required to change the resolution of the 50K raster to 100m, and snap it to the vegetation layer?
I am using ArcGIS1 10.2.2 with all the main extensions.
thanks
