Responsible in providing expert quality care for variety of patients.
Caring for and educating patients about their conditions.
Follows established nursing process, including patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Acts as a clinical resource nurse and a role model for junior staff members.
To take direct managerial responsibility for the unit in the absence of or as delegated by Charge Nurse.
Conjunction with head nurses if necessary.
To liaise and cooperate with other relevant department.
To provide professional leadership including participation in standard setting and leading in the maintenance care standards and Takes direct managerial responsibility for the unit in the absence of or as delegated by Charge Nurse.
To provide resuscitation cover for the hospital when necessary.
Critical/Special Units:
To provide expert care for the critically ill patients and patient requiring special services like surgery, delivery, cardiac catheterization, procedures, etc. whichever is applicable.
