Pricing - Transactional Quoting
Prepare timely responses to all customer RFQ's in line with Move One stipulated guidelines for preparation of quotes with respect to margins, cost analysis and approved service providers.
Ensure all system generated quotes are prepared with all mandatory fields completed, also indicating details of vendor(s) used, revenue and profit estimates and supported by all applicable terms and conditions
Quote Tracker * System Updates
Record basic customer information, key RFQ details and dates for each inquiry in the Master Quote Tracker to maintain visibility;
Ensure regular follow-ups on all pending quotes and status updates for all system generated quotations. Further ensure rate feedback is provided to vendors from whom rates have been procured.
Prepare sanitised weekly summary report of all quotations issued for review by management
Support Tender Management
Respond to all Project Logistics RFQ's within strict time-lines issued by Regional/Local Tender Management;
Maintain a Tender/RFQ Log and ensure to maintain updates from customer/requesting MoveOneoffice;
Pricing - Project Logistics
Assist in development * maintenance of a rates database for Break-Bulk Shipping companies/Cargo * PAX Airlines for main Sea Port(s)/Airports under each Trade Lane (Afghan, Pakistan, Central Asia). Each Carrier must have POC details to facilitate issue of regular enquiries depending on trade lane for import/export.
Prepare and Update Standard Terms * Conditions for movement by Air/Sea for Out-of-Gauge Cargo. Liaise with MoveOne- Freight Forwarding and Customer Service in Dubai to build and regularly update a T*C structure which may be added as an annexure to all Project Logistics proposals
Central Asia Project Logistics * Trade Lane Support
Assist Quoting Team in maintaining, updated standard tariffs on-file for local transportation, sea / airport handling / clearance * warehousing RH*D services at all major / established points of origin/trans-load in Afghanistan, Pakistan * Central Asia region with assistance from concerned Move One stations / partner agents. Minimum bi-monthly basis
Assist in securing monthly schedules for Break-Bulk operators sailing to / from major Pakistan and Caucasus sea ports (based on shipment readiness dates issued by the customer, securing rates as per unit of measurements and space availability on vessels)
Secure schedules for Cargo/PAX flights to primary points of entry for airfreight into Afghanistan, Pakistan * Central Asian airports on a bi-monthly basis at minimum
Update master template with major ports that are not currently included and maintain rates to/from the Ports (Air/Ocean) on a monthly basis
Prepare a summary and remain abreast of port handling (Standard, OOG/Break Bulk, Storage, MHE rental) and terminal handling (Stevedoring) charges
Remain abreast of current import * export regulations for commercial, military * diplomatic cargo from all points of entry and maintain the MoveOne SOP documents up to date
Develop a list of Prime Vendors to support transportation from Sea/Air Ports within Afghanistan, Pakistan * Central Asia. Equipment specifications - 40' Flat Bed, Lowbed (30 MT, 60 MT, 90 MT with details (max. payload, lift on/off options available in vendor inventory, dimensions of equipment)
Develop rates for special equipment - Crane (Above 90MT lift capacity), extra-wide Lowbed, SPMT's
Develop a summary of charges for lashing, bracing of cargo after vessel discharge onto Flat Bed trailers
