What is the most efficient way to access just the 3D Area result from an arcpy.SurfaceVolume_3d calculation? I have the tool running as described (http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//00q900000027000000) producing a table with all its descriptive statistics which I can then query; however, I was wondering if one of you wizards can suggest a more elegant method?
