QGIS Web Client install error

I'm having an installation issue and I can't find any documentation on what might be happening.

1.My server is an apache2.2 run on Debian

2.I run apt-get install qgis-mapserver libapache2-mod-fcgid

3.I follow the clear instructions from https://github.com/qgis/qgis-web-client

I change the install.sh config to match my preferences and try running it. This is what I get:

Using following configuration:############ QGISPROJECTSDIR: /var/geodata/qgis QGISURL: qgis-web-client.130.239.57.16 ENABLEURLREWRITE: true OVERRIDEDEFAULTVHOST: true RESTARTAPACHE: true

# Continue (y/n)?y Installing... Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Unable to locate package qgis-server

Right. The script is unable to locate the qgis-server directory. It's expecting to find it at /usr/lib/cgi-bin/qgis_mapserv.fcgi - but that's where it is!

I'm not sure what the issue is here. Maybe it has something to do with apache2 configuration settings but I can't figure it out. Help appreciated!
