QGIS: Print Composer Crashes Trying to print sizes bigger than A-3

my problem is that QGIS crashes (and go out) when I´m trying to print (on paper or to PDF) and it´s for sizes bigger than A-3. Here´s the basic information:

• OS is Windows XP Professional SP-3 (32 bit)
  
• QGIS versions: it happens with V-2.8.1; V-2.8.3 and V-2.12.0 with standalone installation
  
• It happens when QGIS sounds like working after having pressed the button.
  
• The Project contains some SHP layers (with a lot of labels -one per parcel-) and Raster layers as background.
• The Program crashes and gives a dump file (over 19 MB),
