I'm a new user of QGIS. I need to make a heatmap for my thesis and I'm fairly certain I downloaded and set up the program correctly via online instructions. I imported the GDX points and used a Google Earth basemap and selected the heatmap plugin. After selecting the options I wanted (I'm new at heatmaps, maybe I wasn't doing something right), I clicked ok and the whole program crashed. I'm using a MacBook Pro running OSX Yosemite. I can post part of the error code, if someone can tell me what part pertains to the problem. The whole thing is too long to post. Thanks if anyone can help me.
