Project (Data manager) plus Add XY results in new data being rotated

I have point data in decimal degrees. When I want to convert to local UTM data I have going through the usual Project (Data Manager) to project from LAT/Long to UTM and then when I add XY to the new layer is offset by 50m or so

E.g. LATITUDE -33.995243, LONGITUDE 18.769848=Y 6236420.08, X 294070.3What gives?CheersJosh
