I have developed a series of features in QGIS that will represent data in near-realtime. These features will respond to changes made in a series of external CSVs, which take their data from hardware. The purpose of this is to provide a geographic reference visualization for what the hardware is sending to the CSVs (i.e. the geolocation of the hardware unit itself, and the data it's scanning for). So far, this has been done 90% in Python.
I need the view window, along with the features and their functionality, to be ported over to a window in an application that my partner has developed. This application will be a GUI for the end-user of the hardware.
Is there a tried and true method for carrying this out, or will I have to reinvent the wheel to get this packaged up and sent to an external application?
