I am currently entering my second year in my Masters of Urban Planning. I am 50/50 on whether to go for Ph.D or not. If not, I will do consulting. But the Ph.D is at the back of my mind (nagging more so). I have thought about in 10 years opening my own firm but I do not mind teaching or being a research scientist. If I do my Ph.D, it would be related to GIS (geoinformatics... what ever they want to call it). Its something I am really good at. Any thoughts?
