I am trying to use Lutra Consulting's OS Translator 2 to bulk import GML into a PostGIS database.
I am new to working with PostGIS but I think it is set up correctly. I've installed it using the Mac Postgres App which comes bundled with PostGIS, and I've used pgAdmin3 to activate the PostGIS extension. To test the setup, I've used the SPIT plugin to import a shape file to the PostGIS database and it works. I am then also able to open this from PostGIS into QGIS.
However, when trying to use the OS Translator 2, I get this error: Failed to make a connection to the database - please check your connection settings.
Any ideas for how I can get the Translator talking to PostGIS?
