1. Ensure high-quality patient care
2. Provide long-term care for patients.
3. Work in multidisciplinary team with other doctors and staff
4. Conduct routine eye examination
5. Perform tests on patients
6. Prescribe initial eye care products
7. Prescribe treatment plans
8. Provide specialized eye treatments and therapy
9. Prescribe various treatment plans
10. Instruct interns, residents, or others in ophthalmologic procedures and techniques
11. Develop or implement plans and procedures for ophthalmologic services
12. Communicate patient progress to Optometrist to modify lens prescriptions.
13. Perform surgeries such as
• Phaco + IOL
• ECCE +IOL
• Phackic IOL
• LASIK
• PRK
• PTK
• PKP
• Glaucoma surgery
• Medical retina (laser injections)
