Principal Accountabilities
ECHO TECHNOLOGIST:
- Assisting doctors while scanning and during special echo procedures such as TEE, Dobutamine, myocardial contrast study and intraoperative TEE.
- Preparing the patient for Doppler echo study
- Enter data of patients in the echocardiography machines
- Prepare tapes, CDs, DVDs to be used in recording patients
- Do the preliminary scanning of patients and inform physician about the patient result and preliminary study
- Transfer studies to digital echo network
- Prepare studies for review
- Finalizing studies in computer
- Checking, maintaining and identifying the digital echo network problems and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of basic computer skills

- Knowledge of basic arrhythmia
