Mouseposition on a gxp viewer

I've been trying to include mouseposition on my web application but haven't managed to do it. I've read that since opengeosuite includes openlayers I should use MousePosition.js. My problem is where do I call it from? I've been only using the app.js file (with a gxp Viewer) that is created once you deploy a new app, using plugins included on the boundless sdk. I came across this post: (Get mouse position in OpenGeo) but the answers provided didn't help me... Can anyone enlighten me?
