I am looking for Migrating ArcGIS Server Portal contents from 10.2.1 to 10.3.1. To expand, I would like to migrate the contents (web maps, layers, apps etc..) from my running 10.2.1 portal to 10.3.1 (new) portal server. Please suggest me best possible way. I have more than 1000+ users with huge web maps, custom apps etc. I have gone through ESRI help and found "Copy Content" script - which basically copy the contents of Person A from Portal A to Person B of Portal B. Do I need to start with this?. As said, I have more than 1000, do I need to automate this?
Please advise/recommend the best possible approach. We are migrating only portal to 10.3.1 and all our services (map/gp/globe/gecode) reside in our 10.2.1 only.
