Merging - Aggregation of Rasters

I'm a beginner in Java and a geomatics student. I'am using IntelliJ and I work in Java.

I create two raster with the BufferedImage Java class.

• Raster1
• Raster2

These images show for raster1 the north of an area and raster2 shows the south of the area.I would like to create one raster image composed of both this images in Java. The raster have the same size (width and height)

Any ideas, How can I do that ?
