We are a non profit interested in building a mobile app that would leverage our large database of Art Museum inventories (we are investigating). Target market to be travelers that are in a city and would like to search our database for artists or masterpieces within there current Geo .. we would like a mapping software that could provide directions and optimized itinerary ect. allow user to plot and plan a tour and then print out or follow path ect .. is there an open source or platform available for use to leverage? Is Google maps an option .. any guidance for us business guys that lack any technical experience would be helpful!
