& LG Distributor company looking for Logistic Officer .
*Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handling Logistics activities and ensuring that all equipment and supplies are met as per requirements, as well as following- up on the purchase orders and ensuring its delivery on time.
- Preparing plans and schedules to follow up on the delivery of products in coordination and input from the Procurement Specialist and other concerned parties.
- Costing for the projects.
- Coordinating with the shipping agencies and monitoring their performance to ultimately have the products delivered smoothly and on time.
- Resolving all issues with shipping and insurance agencies in case of lost or damaged items in coordination with all involved parties.
- Regularly reviewing the procurement orders and their conditions to make sure of implanting every single detail in the order and the contract as well.
- Opening the LC, SBLC with Bank.
- Coordinating and negotiating with the shipping and clearance agencies regarding the shipments.
- Entering transactions and system data related to logistics and updating them accordingly.
- Inventory tracking .
- Optimizing the Logistics performance to meet sales and production targets.
- Building excellent collaborative relationships with business partners and bank.
- Handling all invoices related to the products providers to ensure that all transactions are performed on timely basis, as well as following-up with the finance department in this regard.
- Ensuring the delivery of all products for the customers in coordination with concerned staff.
- Monthly closing reports.
