• Continuous improvement - Kaizen
• Increase customer value through logistics improvement initiatives
• Develop and strength relationship with clearing agents, port authorities and governmental institutions
• Manage clearance of all incoming materials (shipping lines, trucks, and air freight)
• Coordinate import requirements with vendors
• Coordinate clearing materials with port entities and governmental agencies
• Coordinate with external entities (such as government entities) on licences, material import exemptions, and refunds
• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders. and other records to determine priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules
• Participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the organization
• Daily/weekly/monthly data collection and analysis
• Drafts local policies, procedures, plans and guidance for supply and services operations
