The Logistics Coordinator is tasked to receive and inspect materiel being delivered at site. He is further tasked to store materials, prepare materials to complete requisitions from various operating teams, perform periodical inventories and report on store operations.
Accurately input and manage data in an inventory management system
Manage an inventory of attic stock, consumables, spare parts, tools, equipment etc....
Manage the transportation and distribution of materials to various sites and locations within Msheireb.
Load and unload freight to and from designated storage area such as racks, shelves, vehicles, refrigeration units, conveyor belt etc...
Identify, accurately label, and consolidate individual pieces into unit load devices such as pallets, containers, over-packs; install protective devices such as bracing, padding, strapping

Verify piece count against documentation, note discrepancies, re-weight and measure pieces
Identify damage, note discrepancies, alert manager or supervisor
Communicate with cartage agent to arrange for either delivery or pickup of freight
Identify shipments requiring special handling and regulatory compliance due to shipment characteristics or value, documentation, commodity, country of origin or destination, shipper or consignee
Print and review labels and documentation, confirm as correct and complete
Comply with all applicable regulations
Maintain work area, follow safety policies and procedures
Respond to customer requests for shipment location
Respond to e-mail and telephone requests in a timely manner
Respond to issues and escalate unresolved issues to next management level
Any additional task or activity as requested or assigned by management
