FINANCIAL:
Set up the best distribution network strategy in order to minimize the transportation cost, optimize the utilization of storage capacities, minimize the WCR with inventory in our chain and maximize the service level to our customers;
Develop the area yearly expenses budget, segregated by area and manage it on daily basis;
Select and negotiate the best rates in the short and long term with different kinds of logistic service providers;
Manage the operation capabilities and process in order to maximize the utilization of the logistics` resources;
Implement and maintain the best practices of inventory management, constantly training the team in order to minimize the inventory losses and maintain the quality of inventory (QA best practices, FEFO management, etc)
CUSTOMER:
Manage the chain of arrivals of stock and allocation inside KSA in order to maximize the stocks availability in the cold stores, according with sales target;
Setup a distribution network strategy in order to deliver to at least 95% of the clients in less than 24 hours;
Define, adapt and manage the operation procedures, capabilities and timelines in order to support the sales strategy;
Implement benchmark procedures and technologies of sales orders management and deliveries routing plan aiming to be a benchmark in service level in the region.
Manage and develop the In-House and 3PL transportation team, in order to have the BRF Service Level Standard in all KSA (driver`s qualification program, uniform, trucks visual identity, etc.)
INTERNAL PROCESSES:
Developing and/or implementing IT systems and/or other processes aimed achieving internal efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop, implement, adapt and manage operation policies and procedures in order to achieve the best utilization of the operation resources and capabilities, minimizing the associated risks;
Plan and manage the weekly operation projection (stock, inbound, outbound) in order to plan the proper resources with antecedence;
Develop, manage and routinely follow-up the inventory integrity procedures and results, aiming to have an on time accuracy between book and physical stock;
Define, contract, manage and control all the logistic resources (Eg.: manpower, MHE`s, cold store, fleet, etc.);
Define and establish (as a routine) a management system of KPI`s, with clear responsibilities, authorities and metrics;
Implement the corporate policies of Quality Assurance of the products in all the steps of the logistic processes;
Do quarterly meetings with SP to manage their SLA and performance
PEOPLE
Assure a good work conditions to all employees in the logistic operation;
Implement a Health and Safety program for the cold stores and transporters;
Spread to the team the BRF corporate management culture;
Recruit and develop local talents;
Retaining employees;
Develop (and encourage the development) a succession plan and career path to all employees for the logistic
