I'm in Newcastle, UK and I'm trying to enter my latitude and longitude into some software.
The software is asking me to enter degrees of latitude north of the equator. This is what I've entered: 54.97 N. Is this correct?
The software is asking me to enter degrees of longitude away from the prime meridian. As (I think) I'm west of the prime meridian, this is what I've entered: 1.61 W. Is this correct?
