I am trying to calculate distances between points in a Chinese province.
The measure tool and distance matrix both provide the distance in terms of degrees. I read earlier that I need to change the CRS to a Projected Coordinate System instead of a Geographic Coordinate System in order to obtain the distance in meters. However, the catch is that the area under consideration is within China. Based on my reading online, WGS 84 does not accurately capture the coordinates, and hence I need to use the mandated GCJ-02 system.
Any tips or advice?
