I am currently examining the results of spatial statistics using Moran's I and High-Low clustering methods. I have used distance thresholds of 5 miles, 10 miles, and 15 miles for each. Moran's I returned over all distances that the data are not significantly different from random. However, high-low clustering indicated with .01% confidence high values are actually clustered. How can this be?
