As directed by the Program Director, provides leadership, program ILS management, coordination as well as to support the control of all the stakeholders and sub-contractors. ILS Operations Manager will also be required to provide support to the Program Director to manage transition from delivery to operations, maintain and sustain the program on behalf of the Client.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Develop a common user logistics interface for configuring, operating and supplying range facilities, this will reduce range preparation and system training time, increase effectiveness and training throughput;
• Management of the Facility Maintenance Manager;
• Develop the ILS plan for transitioning to ITC and FTC phases;
• Have full visibility of all sites, ranges and asset operational availability, which will allow:
o Accurate and timely scheduling and de-confliction of range /site maintenance and range /site bookings;
o Warehouse operations, inventory and supply;
o Identification of impending problems which could affect availability;
o Maintaining optimal equipment performance that reduces training downtime and will assist in obsolescence management;
o Procurement of stores, target systems and range furniture; o Fleet management;
o Budgeting and financial management of the range operations; o Administrative support and planning support to program;
o Transport and Travel coordination for the program and the client where requested.
• Provide the Client Program Director and/or authorized the Client Sponsor with a Monthly Progress Report.
• Support the development of the Monthly Progress Report.
• Other tasks as directed by the Client.
