<strong><em>Summary<em><strong> Your role would be to support Medair’s information management processes at the regional level – on one hand you’d have a very dataandcomputeroriented position and on the other hand you’d be called on to deliver trainings to get others involved in information management. On a daytoday basis you would be involved in a wide variety of activities involving computer programming database management server maintenance report creation monitoring and evaluation and internalexternal training on information management.**

Data Collection General Tasks
<ul> Developing and updating ODK forms

Keeping ODK training material up to date

Develop organizational capacity for multimedia and information alerting usage
<ul>
Server Maintenance Data Protection and Database Management General Tasks
<ul>
Developing and maintaining a master database

Be responsible for data accuracy and data cleaning

Implementing beneficiary data protection protocols and preparing relevant training

Manage user accounts through centralized servers
<ul>
Computer Programming amp Technology Development General tasks
<ul>
Contribute to database programming

Contribute to mobile app programming

Test evaluate and implement new technologies as necessary
<ul>
Data Analysis Visualization and Reporting General Tasks
<ul>
Analysing data to produce relevant indicators

Using GIS or other relevant software to produce information visuals

Produce automated database reports

Contribute information visuals to internal and external reporting

Communicationamp Training General Tasks
<ul>
Regular team communication and contribution

Carry out internal and external trainings on information management for humanitarian programmes

Translating programme data from Arabic to English or English to Arabic

Responsible for monitoring and evaluation reporting from database

Quality Management General Tasks
<ul>
Follow appropriate IM standards and integrate lessons learned into the projects

Diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems

Vocational qualification

<strong><em>Required<em><strong> University degree in relevant subject or equivalent professional technical qualification

<strong><em>Desirable<em><strong> University degree in Computer Programming Database Management Systems amp Computing

Work experience

<strong><em>Required<em><strong>

Relevant professional experience working with information management using large and complex databases 23 yrs

Experience using data for reporting purposes

Experience in computer programming

<ul>
Previous NGO experience 1 yrs

Experience in monitoring and evaluation GIS and ODK technology.

Experience with data analysis packages eg EPInfo SPSS Qlik

Experience in use of tablets amp smart phones and associated software*

Intermediate English spoken and written****************

Excellent Arabic spoken and written
