As many here I am working with images (aerial) pictures and sometimes get lost in them. An index would be nice, but the ways to generate those that I know of (Image boundary plugin, gdal Tile index) seem to take middle and extent and draw a box from those, ingnoring any rotate meta. I have a series of arial photo's that are roated, so the bounding box becomes much larger.
I use the plugins in the CRS of the images, no on the fly transformations.Any advice would be welcome.
