I would like to implement this script in QGIS: How to draw perpendicular lines in QGIS? and be able to choose input data from the layers in my map, and iterate over them. The script from the link above is more of an example script.
Unfortunately my Python skills are non-existant, so i wonder if there are any quick tips to exchange variable names/functions in the script with other variables/functions that will make me able to input data from map layers?
I understand that my question is like wanting to be able to run before I can walk... Nonetheless, this is the only solution I've found so far for a problem that I need to solve (haven't found any "plug-and-play" scripts or plugins), and I really don't have time to learn Python from scratch at this moment.
