How to split by attribute into their own shapefiles? [duplicate]

I'm using ArcGIS 10.2. I have a shapefile with multiple polygones. I want to split the polygons into their individual shapefiles. I tried using the Split but get hung up on the "Split Field" with unique values. If there's an easier way to do this please help me.
