I installed and developed a project in GeoNode in parallel to another CMS project in Django. The CMS runs in localhost:8040 and GeoNode runs in localhost:8000. It is important to know that GeoNode was installed via the GitHub repo, which means there is no local_settings.py working in GeoNode. I want to be able to access to my CMS project, but ALLOWED_HOSTS setting doesn't work, and I don't have that problem in the CMS project settings.
Has anyone set the ALLOWED_HOSTS setting in a GitHub-installed GeoNode or come up with any other solution?

PS: Just in case you wonder why I say GitHub-installed, you can also install it using apt-get, which makes GeoNode runs in Apache, but I didn't want that approach.
