I'm very new to GIS mapping and I have some polygons loaded into ArcGIS Pro. I need to associate some data that is currently stored in Excel with each polygon e.g. population density, average rent.
I have tried saving the excel as CSV, adding it as a layer and then I attempted creating a join on a common ID assigned to both a polygon and the row in Excel, however this failed miserably.
Please could somebody advise me either how to correctly do a join or use another method to solve this?
