How to install the Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin version 7 and version 6 concurrently

The Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin (SCP) version 7 has been released recently..
In case you still need to use the old version 6 in your QGIS project, you can install both version 6 and 7 of the Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin concurrently.

In order to install the SCP version 6 follow these steps:

• Run QGIS;

• From the main menu, select Plugins > Manage and Install Plugins;

• Click Settings then click the button Add;

​

• Inside the Repository details enter:
  • Name: SCP6
  • URL: https://semiautomaticgit.github.io/SemiAutomaticClassificationPlugin_v6/repository.xml
• and click OK;

​

• After the repository update, the item Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin v6 - master should be listed with the other plugins;

​

• From the menu All, select the Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin v6 - master and click the button Install plugin; the version 6 of SCP should be automatically activated (in case restart QGIS);

Both versions 6 and 7 of SCP can be installed and work independently.
