How can I create a polygon like in the right side of the picture from a line formed by two geographic points like in the left side of the picture in PostGIS?
The polygon is the union of the area of all infinite circles with an radius x running inside the line formed by the two points OR the area of a rectangle with a 2*x length united with the two circles of radius x on the top and the bottom.The points are geographic points (like -72.1235 42.3521) and I like the radius of the circle to be informed in meters.
