I have a raster file I wish to find the horizon angles from. I am currently using QGIS 2.10.1-pisa (the latest updated version) with the GRASS plugin (6.4.3 and 7.0). I have a raster file generated in ArcGIS from LiDAR point data. I can open this fine in QGIS but running the r.horizon algorithm throws an error saying the Data source is invalid ().
I have also tried to do this in the standalone GRASS version but with no success.
Can anyone shed some light on why this is occurring?I am unfamiliar with using GRASS so if there is another way to get horizon angles using say ArcGIS that would be better
