I am producing a floodplain map using ArcMap 10.1, Hec-Ras 4.1.0 and Hec-GeoRas toolbar extension. I have created XS cut lines and river and bank data in ArcMap 10.1, having imported LiDAR data images and created a TIN. This data was imported into Hec-Ras and flow data added. However, when exporting the results back into ArcMap in the Hec-GeoRas toolbar in ArcMap using the Import RAS Data button, the .xml file does not import because of an error. This error in full says: The specified WKID (factory code) or WKT (definition string) is not a Projected Coordinate System.
How do I resolve this issue? The XS cut lines and river shapefiles in ArcMap have not been projected into a spatial reference, would this be the problem?
