grouping feature service layers in ArcGIS viewer for flex and applying clustering, is

I have some feature service layers I want to apply clustering to, and I also want to group them, or set them up as sublayers, for example I want to group the layers by category. I haven't been able to find a clear answer based on the research I've done. Is this possible?

Flex API will be not supported in the future, ESRI going to support only JavaScript ...

I had implemented a custom module of clusterFeatureLayer in ArcGIS API for JavaScript with grouping or as you mentioned set them up as a sublayers. clustering is awesome
data visualizer.
