A specialized Geodesy, engineering, and technical supplies business is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the post of:
GIS Projects and Sales Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordination of establishment & development of GIS data bases for various uses in the local market.
Collections of maps in different formats and loading them onto instruments. Including any digitizing process, software use.
Assistance in marketing & sales of GIS products. Whether in-house produced or commercially available.
Execution of GIS projects.
Qualifications &Experience:
•A Bsc. in GIS or Survey or Civil or Electronic Engineering from a renowned University With evident further training in GIS from a renowned institution or University.
•A minimum of two years work experience. Including a minimum one year of GIS work experience.
General Conditions:
Candidate must have the will to work as a sales person as well as a projects person. Candidate will make or help make the product. Then sell it.
•Must have good commercial and sales skills.
§ Must have excellent communication skills.
•Must be highly self-motivated, appreciating team work, hard work, and seeking the best for his/her business organization.
