I was thinking of creating a PowerPoint outlining the workflow for a GIS project; however, I thought I would create a few slides outlining what the workflow "really" looks like in the real world, especially within the realm of government, where things are done somewhat nilly-willy.
What are some of the real world examples you may have experienced that conflict with the ideal model. I welcome humor as I think this would transfer well to the audience.
E.g. Idea ---> little or no data available ----> gather/create data ------> massive mess ------> two years later and several thousand dollars later -----> revisit idea ------> new idea......
Let's make this fun ... but real.
