I am new to Geoserver. I am using geoserver map in another application. I've set up a layer group of around 30+ layers. Native SRS for all the 30+ layers is EPSG:4326 and CRS for layer group is EPSG:900913. For each layer style's been defined. e.g. a road layer to display only between scale of 2m and 3m. So accordingly defined in SLD max/min scale denominators. Then I cached the layers using 900913 gridset. When I display the map in another application the scales do not match there is huge difference in scales.
For the road layer which is defined for 2m to 3m scale but actually it is displayed between 176000 to 353000. Is this DPI related or coordinates system related?
Is there anything I might have missed completely or misunderstood it?
Any pointers where I am going wrong?
