I am following this direction (http://revenant.ca/www/postgis/workshop/loadingdata.html). So far so good except errors in using 'shp2pgsql' and 'psql' Please see below:
c:\workshops\PostGIS\data>set_environment.bat c:\workshops\PostGIS\data>shp2pgsql -s 2270 medford_parks.shp medford_parks > me dford_parks.sql 'shp2pgsql' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
c:\workshops\PostGIS\data>c:\program files\postgreSQL\9.4\bin\shp2pgsql -s 2270 medford_parks.shp medford_parks > medford_parks.sql 'c:\program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
'shp2pgsql' and 'psql' are located in c:\program files\postgreSQL\9.4\bin\ So I tried to indicate the path but it didn't work.
Please let me know what the problem is.
Also, is there any way to load .sql data into postgreSQL by not using commond line (preferably pgadmin)?
