I asked to produce location maps at 1:50K for our company website. As template, the corporate office chose a map i made using Natural Resources Canada CanVec (1:50,000 metric) data.
Our projects are in Canada, the US, Australia, Mexico and Chile. Outside of Canada, I am only familiar with Minnesota (DNR) data but since these maps should have the same look and feel and be all ~1:50,000 I was wondering whether there are datasets comparable to CanVec available in the other countries and where I can download these.
Alternatively, I can drop the scale and create more generalized location maps if world wide datasets exist. I have access to ESRI data but I need something more detail.
