I have two Google map objects on my page:
1) height: 121px; width: auto; (This is the smaller map).
2) height: 770px; width: auto; (This is the larger map).
Both of these maps have the same length polyline on them. They both also have a symbol which I repeat at the same percentage value (0.5%) for each line.
Incase this isn't clear. Both of the maps have IDENTICAL lines overlayed onto them. The only difference between the maps is their physical size.
My problem is, for a given zoom level, the larger map appears to give (ever so slightly) more separation between the symbols than the smaller map.
This is particularly noticable at [zoom-level: 4] where:

This is particularly noticable at [zoom-level: 4] where:
- the smaller map merges the symbols into a single line.
- the larger map keeps a minute amount of separation between the symbols.
