Recently I have been asked why there are (ModelBuilder) tools and Python scripts tools in ArcGIS ModelBuilder toolboxes. I am not sure how to answer this question. Other than one is tool created by Esri as a tool and the other is tools written using Pyhton scrips, I am not sure how to give a clear answer of why Esri has 2 types of tools in the ModelBuider. What are the differences?
