I have many areas that need to created as buffers around lines, but they need to be various sizes and an on-going project where the lines will need to be drawn in, adjusted, then buffered. The most efficient way I've found is to use the "Buffer" in the drop-down of the editor tool bar, as it allows what I need to do without creating a new feature class, running a tool, can be done on the fly, etc.
However, I need the ends of the buffer to be flat instead of round. I know I can do this in the tool, but there is no option for changing this for the buffer in the dropdown of the editor toolbar. Is this possible? Thanks
