100% ONLINE and competitively priced, the Online GIS Certificate Program offers national and international students access to software and complete assignments through edesktop for GIS. Tuition is a flat rate no matter location and there are no pre-requisites required to begin. The University of West Florida has the first and only certificate program currently employing this technology to provide a mix of hands-on software training with conceptual instruction from highly qualified GIS professionals. Students have full access to industry standard software like ArcGIS Desktop 10.1 & ERDAS Imagine 2011. A high-speed internet connection is required to access software. Online GIS also offers a specialized track for students wishing to utilize GIS in an Anthropological/Archaeological setting. This newly developed track was designed to meet the needs of current and aspiring archaeologists.
