I am seeking suggestion on something I am trying to solve in ArcGIS. Please look at the above attribute table as an example. I am trying to reduce the attribute table by var1 (i.e. the polygons with similar var1 values will be merged) and calculate the corresponding values for var2, var3 and var4. The values of var2 to var4 depend on the area of the polygons and so I think just averaging would not give the actual summary. Can anyone help me how to do this?
