I have a problem converting a .asc DEM data that I have to work with.
When use the ascii to raster tool in ArcGIS 10.1, instead of converting my file to a GRID raster, ArcGIS converts it into a AIG dataset. (I don't write any extension for the output, following the ArcGIS help to have a GRID raster). Has someone faced the same problem and solve it in some way?
I tried to convert from AIG to GRID or to export the data to GRID but it doesn't work either way.
