Job Description
We are urgently seeking for Sr. Urban Planner for our Geomatics division. The responsibilities of the role are:
Work on the development of the new emerging city concept (smart city)
Proved experience in new urban models and theories, eco-building, energy efficiency, socioeconomic changes and multi-sectorial policies.
Experience in housing, community and economic development.
Supporting in developing and updating the urban planning policies to include the effect of the smart cities influences.
Need to devise ways to motivate from conventional theories and techniques in the creation of the urban plans towards modern theories and policies for urban design and planning.
Design new communities and develop programs to revitalize and expand existing cities. Regional planners work on a much larger scale, studying the problems of states, multistate regions, and sometimes entire countries.
Skills
1. Master/Bachelor Degree in Planning, Engineering, or Other 2. relevant discipline
3. 15 years of experience in urban planning.
4. 3 Years in the aspects of smart cities in the urban planning
5. Sound strong IT skills in GIS and related technologies.
6. International experience will be preferred.
