Senior GIS Analyst

My client is a leading engineering consultancy who have an excellent reputation and track record in the Middle East spanning over 30 years. They have recently been appointed as Planning and Integration Consultant for the Qatar Central Planning Office and need to recruit 2 GIS Analysts due to the increase in workload. The role will include- - Integration of data from multiple sources into the spatial data repository. - Analysis, interrogation and manipulation of spacial data received from stakeholders and third parties. - Spatial and temporal analysis of data. - Preparation of sketches and figures. - Adherence to project GIS and data management manual. - Adherence to project quality procedures.
Candidates must have a degree or equivalent in GIS or a related field and have a proven track record as a GIS Analyst. Candidates must have excellent written and spoken English skills and have a proven track record in delivering projects to deadlines with in a high pressured environment. Candidates should have the following skills.
- Expertise using ESRI ArcGIS.
- Expertise in at least two of the following - 3D, Spatial, Network and Tracking Analysts.
- Expertise in providing GIS support to multi discipline , client focused, project environments.
- A good understanding of spatial data formats and spatial reference systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.

Salary : $65000 to $80000
